Volunteer Opportunities

Do you want to be part of a safe and loving community, and helping individuals develop important life skills? Joining our volunteer group will allow you to make a difference, bring joy, and create a meaningful difference for individuals and families living with an exceptionality.

ATI Foundation is fully run by volunteers and is the heart of our organization. We are always looking for motivated and enthusiastic volunteers to participate in all levels of our organization. We encourage post-secondary students who are interested in healthcare, special needs and mental health, professionals, and various members of the community, to make a difference in the lives of differently-abled individuals.

  • Excellent independent, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a group environment and independently

  • Motivated to work with individuals with varying exceptionalities

  • 16 years or older

  • Upon completion of certain hours, a letter of recommendation may be provided

All volunteers are required to participate in an interview and have a vulnerable screening police check, in addition to a training session.

Volunteers will be supervised and evaluated by program coordinators on a periodical basis. In addition, the Volunteer Coordinator will provide support and consultation.
